Experience with Horses

• Sole charge groom/rider up to 9 horses for 3 years. Duties included:

•General yard duties • exercising/ hacking or assisting with young dressage horses to experienced event horses/ ponies including occasional clinics •competition prep (plaiting/ bathing) •Hacking out with the family on occasions •Holiday cover • Letting out or taking dogs for walk

Freelance groom for the past 2 years working on various types of yards including 3* event yard, dressage yard with horses competing up to inter II and teaching riders of all ages.

•Groom/ rider at Tremains riding school- part time

I have Owned 4 horses for the past 10 years and been riding for about 18 years.

•Competed at winter dressage championships.

•Ridden 3* level event horses.
•Assisted with schooling youngster for showing/ working hunter classes •Brought on 5 year old just been backed(first time jumping/ schooling at other venues)

• What do you most enjoy about working with horses?

I enjoy making sure the horses are cared for to a high standard individually receiving high quality care and turning horses out to a high standard especially for competitions.
I love working with young horses and seeing them progress everyday both on the ground and ridden.

I am a hard working, reliable and will always give my best. I have a willingness to learn new skills to help others. A calm nature around the horses and enjoy working with and always ensuring the horses have high quality of care.
