Experience with Horses
I have ridden horses since I was 4 years old – started a career in dressage at 16 working for Paul Friday. From there I have produced numerous young horses as well as horses up to PSG ( 3 of which I have now I either broke in myself or brought competing novice level ) I have also dealt with the breeding side of equestrian life having bred 3 foals this year (2020) with one due next year and two the year after ! I’ve ran yards as well as running my own competition and breeding hatch at home. I have also taught in riding schools and am a dressage specific coach
What are you particularly good at?Sole charge , working with others, clipping, plaiting, turning out for shows, handling stallions, handling/riding young horses
Strengths and Weaknesses
• I enjoy all aspects of working with and training horses of all type breed and size
• I would love to gain a wider knowledge on the sales side of the equine industry as well as continuing to learn more on the breeding
• employers should consider me because so have a great understanding of horse care, as well as training and work to a high standard
Requirements
• What would you like to do or gain in your next job?
I would be interested in carrying on learning the breeding side of things as well as furthering my dressage knowledge. However I would also be interested in learning about the sales side of things either in a shop but as a field agent for feed company or equestrian sales.
