Hello, my name is Hannah. I have always wanted to work with animals since I was young. I have studied for three years at Rodbaston College completing B-Tech deplomas in Animal Care level 2 and Animal Care and Management level 3, this also included ‘Equine pathway’. Though theses courses I was introduced to the specific needs of small and large domestic animals, livestock, horses and some exotic animals. During my time at Collage I also volunteered at a local Raptor Rescue centre. Helping with the birds of prey, taking part in public displays as well as their daily needs. At the centre there where also a verity of exotics such as lemurs, monkeys, reptiles and other mammals. I also have personal experience with my own horses as my grandparents breed Shires.
I work well as part of a team or alone.
I am very attentive and eager and will always try my hardest to ensure my job is completed to the best of my abilities, if I am ever unsure of something I will learn and research.
I have worked in a verity of setting since leaving college including riding schools, private yards, dressage, polo, carriage driving, stud work, yearling prep and looking after a wide range of animals as well as horses. Jack of all trades – I believe is the phrase!
