Previous employment
Three plus years experience as a yard manager. I was responsible for all organisations of running a private sole yard, from arranging farrier, vets, worming programs, physio, placing feed orders, treating minor injuries, taking calls from owners. As well as looking after all horses to a very high standard including feeding, grooming and exercising. Preparing clients horses for future competitions and taking all the stress of organising and prepping for this event.
I also had to take responsibility of cutting lawns, weeding, strimming, hedge trimming, leaf blowing and some lite maintenance of property which entailed fixing fencing, painting and changing stable lights.
Buying groceries, toiletries and equipment for yard also.
One year and a half experience working as a veterinary technician at the animal health trust for Sue Dyson. I gained a lot of knowledge on investigating ill fit horses and how they are meant to feel before treatment and after treatment.
I also had to assist vets in surgery, ultrasound and X-ray.
Dealing with booking clients onto our database, calling clients with updates of their horses and discussing their horses after care after surgery and rehabilitation paperwork.
Dealing with all clients via email, telephone and face to face.
One year and a half experience in house keeping/ private cleaning to very high standard.
Two years food and beverage assistant experience which also included delivery driver experience for a gourmet burger company.
