Experience with Horses

Not very young but still very motivated, I am looking for a job, where I can strengthen a team and take care of the horses’ welfare. Ideally with accommodation. I can start right away.

After joining the WALTI STABLE stables of Mr. Adamo Walti, in 2011, I became at first a rider and gr, but also a horse trainer. My specialties: working with young horses, with (or without) physical or psychological problems, knowing how to decipher equine behavior, improving rider-horse relationships, and groundwork to prepare them for the first ride.

By observing the horses and the way their mechanics work, I wanted to move towards a training course to improve their physical health and well-being.

I graduated as a “physiotherapist for horses, masseur-stretcher” from the school of osteopathy applied to animals of Mr. Jean Michel Boudard. Thanks to my training as an equestrian therapist, I am able to help horses suffering from physical blockages and other problems in physiotherapy and elaborate a specific work plan for permanent rehabilitation.

I have a diploma as a federal equestrian animator (FREF France approved by youth and sports)
With my riding diploma galop 7, I am the link between the rider and the horse, and I guide them towards a better knowledge of themselves. I also specialize in training and desensitizing horses on the ground and in the saddle, training horses for muscle strengthening and good body elasticity and conditioning training.

During this period I was the manager of the stables. I was in charge of the care of the horses, ensuring their good health and intervening with them, if necessary, with the help of the veterinarian, the farrier, or the dentist.

I assisted the equine health professionals in the administration of vaccinations, deworming, prescribed treatments, and also provided care for sick animals, always in liaison with the vets and owners.
I also kept the vaccination register and managed the order schedule for horse feed and the planning of fittings and trimmings.

It was also at this time that I started to work with riders and their horses, respecting the physiology of each one and improving the blockages encountered in the practice of their riding.

Today, I still have the opportunity to offer my knowledge when a rider encounters difficulties while riding. I identify the problems and find solutions between the rider and his horse (physically and mentally).

For the past 2 years, I have been training a young woman and her 6-year-old Spanish mare to compete in dressage competitions. In 2021, we have qualified and participated in the French championship and the European championship.

From 2011 to 2019, I was also responsible for communication, advertising, and marketing for the Walti Stable and Mr. Adamo Walti. Among other things, I planned and realized the presentation and exhibition stand at EQUITA LYON. All publicity materials, such as the website, Facebook page, flyers, and posters, were created and published by me.

Key Skills

All work around the horse. Working horses suffering from physical blockages and other problems in physiotherapy and elaborate a specific work plan for permanent rehabilitation, handling stallions, handling young horses, daily management, event planning.

Strengths and Weaknesses

The most I enjoy about working with horses is helping and stabilizing them both physically and psychologically and helping riders understand horses in work routines and bring create harmony between rider and horse.

I am still very fit and highly motivated to get involved and support a team for the success of a riding facility and above all for the well-being of the owners, riders, and horses and I am ready to move to another country.

Language skills: English, German, French.

Requirements

• I would need accommodation.

• I have my cat to bring with me, she is 18 years old and very calm. She has lived with me since she was born and I could not give her up.
