Job Description

Head groom wanted for small family yard in the Scottish Borders.  Excellent facilities and accommodation on private estate.

Minimum Requirements

We are looking for a sole charge groom for our small family yard as our current groom – who has been with us for seven years – is moving back to Europe.  Care involves fitness work and turn out for hunting and care/exercise of two older horses.  The job would suit someone older, looking for a step back from competition grooming, or someone younger who would like to bring one/two horses and make use of the excellent training facilities.   We require someone with attention to detail, a cheerful disposition and good riding skills who is self motivated and capable of sole care and management of the yard.
