Job Description – Manager – Live In or Out

A new opportunity has arisen at our Equestrian Centre to run our busy BHS Highly commended established riding school, livery yard & competition centre.

We are currently looking to employ a self-employed OR employed Manager.

The successful candidate will manage our team in the running of our busy riding school livery yard and competition centre & be an enthusiastic person who can be a positive role model for staff and who work individual or as a team.

Full time position, between 3 & 5 days per week depending on the applicants preferences, but must include on weekend day per week.

Jobs to include:-

* This is a clerical and hands on position ‘Lead by example’

* Teaching clients

* Teaching & Training staff

* Work with our online booking system

* Liaise with livery owners

* Schooling, training horses & chance to compete

* Oversee Welfare of horses

* Health & Safety requirements

* Promoting the business to a wider audience

* Liaising with relevant governing bodies eg BHS, local authority for Licences etc

* Promoting good practice within the work place

* Being included in courses eg Fire Training

* Operating Farm Machinery eg Tractor

* Customer Service Training

Competitive renumeration package depending on experience and hours decided to work.

Minimum BHS AI or equivalent qualification.
