Due to an increase in numbers we are looking for an enthusiastic person, who loves horses, to join our friendly team.
You will be required to:
· Assist the trainer with day to day running of a busy racing yard
· Be responsible for feeding
· Take sole charge of a weekend
· You must be capable of bandaging and dealing with all horse related issues
· Being able to ride would be an advantage but not necessary
Working hours are:
Monday to Friday 07:00 to 12:30 and 16:30 to 18:00 and Saturday 07:00 to 12:30
Alternate weekends:
Saturday 17:00 to 18:00 and Sunday 08:00 to 10:00 and 17:00 to 18:00
If you work the weekend you get the following Thursday evening off
Excellent on-site single person accommodation available – sorry no pets
