Job Description
Experienced groom required for private family yard. Full care and exercise of two horses doing some working hunter classes and occasional show-jumping; hacking, flatwork, and if capable jumping is required. There is also a Dartmoor pony to be kept ticking over on the lunge and to help grandchildren ride. This is a perfect job for someone who wants to take a step down from a big busy yard, but still work to a very high standard in lovely surroundings.
Minimum Requirements
Must be experienced in all aspects of stable management, including responsibility for feed orders and liaison with vets and farrier. A competent, safe rider is required to keep the horses fit and ready for occasional shows.
Accommodation details
This is a live-in role, with a one bedroom flat above the yard. Partner and small pets welcome.
