Based between Arena UK and Vale View in Leicestershire.
Looking for a new person to head up looking after 4 top showjumping horses, due to our current lady now expecting twins!
The care of our horses is the top priority, the successful candidate will be expected to take full ownership of the yard on a day to day basis.
Duties will include, mucking out, turn in and out etc, grooming and clipping, tack and general cleaning throughout, hacking, lunging when needed. Liaising with suppliers for weekly orders, assisting the farrier and other trades, stable and field. Show prep to a high standard. Must be able to organise bloods etc for going abroad.
Applicants should enjoy their job, take pride in their work, be clean and tidy. Must be self motivated and be able to work alone.
Experience at a competitive Show Jumping yard essential. The opportunity if desired to travel and groom at some of the nicest shows in Europe.
Living could be arranged if needed. HGV is preferred but not essential for the right person.
