Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre, West London

Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre is a BHS and RDA west London charity and riding centre working with children and young people, including many with additional needs. We are looking for a hands-on, experienced horse person and coach to lead our equine programme.

This is a practical, horse-first role — not an office job.

You will:

• Lead the horses’ exercise, schooling, hacking and workload
• Run the lesson timetable and riding programme
• Maintain high standards of teaching and horse welfare
• Lead and support staff and volunteers
• Oversee the day-to-day equine operation

You’ll work closely with the CEO and Admin team, but you’ll lead the horses and riding side of the centre.

We’re looking for:

• An experienced coach
• Confident working with mixed ability novice riders and riders with additional needs.
• Calm, organised, practical and professional and tidy
• BHS Stage 3/4 (or equivalent experience) preferred, some experience with RDA

What we offer:

• Full-time, permanent role (includes weekends) 5 days a week
