Our client has a lively 2-year-old large and over-friendly dog and two retired horses, but the client needs to travel to see their elderly parents abroad for a few long weekends this year, and for things to run smoothly whilst they are gone.

Not a tough gig by any means, but it will require a real animal lover who will enjoy supervising and engaging with said crazy dog and who is able to provide usual grooming duties for the retired horses who are in for 5/6 hours a day and out in a field for the rest of the time.

The horses are rugged (they have a field shelter), and both are sweet and VERY friendly. The horse is still young at heart so very curious but well behaved if a little cheeky and the pony needs coaxing as can be a little shy but really enjoys fuss once you have his trust, which has to be earned (WHW backgrounds). Routine is a must for these two, so same time or very similar time required each day.

Horse Duties would include but might not be limited to :

– [ ] Picking out feet/ brushing off

– [ ] rug changing as/when

– [ ] Poopicking

– [ ] Feeding

– [ ] Haying

– [ ] Cleaning out water trough etc as time allowed.
