Job Description

Head person wanted to manage day to day running of a top competition yard based in the Cotswolds. We have horses from 3yo to 5* eventers and 1.60m showjumpers.

We are looking for someone with previous head person experience with good communication skills and attention to detail and able to manage the other staff on the yard.
lots of opportunities to come to shows (both eventing and showjumping) all around the country and abroad.
must have the ability to turn out horses to a high level and be able to lunge, plait and clip etc.

We are ideally looking for someone who can also hack out and be happy riding young and fit competition horses although this is not a deal breaker. You are welcome to bring your own horse with you and we offer training free of charge.

You will be working alongside a few other members of staff on a fun and friendly yard. We are looking for someone who would like to help support our yard but we are always open to people bringing your own ideas to the job.

 

Minimum Requirements

Previous head person experience.

Can turnout to a high standard and run a fast paced yard.

Experience with young and fit horses

Dog/horse welcome.
