Fantastic opportunity for a professional and experienced 2nd Home and Competition Dressage Groom who loves horses and prioritises their relationship with them and the horses’ well-being. This is a very rare position looking after 5 horses within a team (horses competing PSG at National & European level). All previously placed staff seem to remain with this employer for a long time!

Musdt be capable of teamwork and sole charge management and care for 11 large, fit dressage horses, 5 out competing regularly. Must be a quiet but confident handler, keen to build a relationship with the horses in their care.

You should be able to hack retired horses.

Will be trained on the use of a horse treadmill.

A sociable person is essential, happy to work on their own but also able to work well with the owner, yard manager and other staff employed. An interest in observing and supporting the training and production of the owner’s horses is key.

Must be able to lunge.

11 stables, individual post and rail turnout, walker, 60×20 arena, 40×20 indoor arena, water treadmill, solarium, wash down bays, tack room, beautiful setting.
